Replacement of the goals on the main park

The goals on the main park, whilst structurally sound, were recognised as a hindrance during ground maintenance, whilst hosting training sessions and when hosting other events at Ham Park, they could impede walkways.

The decision was made to purchase new, modern, mobile goals that could help us to increase participation levels at the same time as offering flexibility during park maintenance periods, and also whilst hosting other community events in the ground.

One of the benefits is that this will enable the club to adapt the dimensions of the playing surface to accommodate inclusive activities such as walking football, contributing to the health and wellbeing of the wider community.

The club was very grateful for the support committed from the Scottish Football Partnership Trust to allow the procurement of the goals. The club would also like to go on the record and thank the club’s main sponsor Blargoans Ltd for assisting in the logistics and purchasing of the goals.
